How to convert text to PDF

  1. 1

    Add your text

Paste text into the box, or load a .txt file. Nothing is uploaded.

  2. 2

    Convert

The text is wrapped, paginated and rendered to a PDF, entirely on your device.

  3. 3

    Download

Save the PDF, laid out in clean monospaced pages, ready to print or share.

Why convert text to PDF in your browser?

Notes, logs, code and drafts are often things you would rather not paste into a random website. Converting locally turns your text into a clean, shareable PDF while keeping every character on your device instead of uploading it.

Frequently asked questions

Is my text uploaded?+

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser: the text is turned into a PDF on your device, so it never leaves your computer. Most text-to-PDF sites send your content to a server.

Can I convert a .txt file, or only pasted text?+

Both. Paste text straight in, or use “Load a .txt file” (also .log or .md) to read a file into the editor, then convert.

How is the text laid out?+

In a monospaced font on A4 pages with comfortable margins. Long lines are word-wrapped to the page width and the text is paginated automatically, so nothing runs off the edge.

Which characters are supported?+

Standard Latin text, punctuation and Western European accents render fully. Emoji and non-Latin scripts (such as CJK) are shown as a placeholder, since the built-in font does not include them.

Does it work offline?+

Yes. After the first visit it keeps working with no connection, because all processing is local.
