An Indian private limited company has to show its CIN on its letters, and most businesses print the GSTIN too so that clients can raise a purchase order without asking for it. This page sets A4 and asks for both by name, alongside the registered office address. Two worked examples are included, a Pune private limited and a Bengaluru clinic, so you can see a finished letterhead before you type anything.

Frequently asked questions
Is the CIN compulsory on a letterhead?+
The Companies Act requires a company to mention its CIN, registered office address and contact details on its letters and other official publications. Check the current wording with your company secretary; this tool prints what you type.
Should the GSTIN be on there too?+
It is not required on a letterhead, but it is common and it saves your customers asking for it when they set you up as a vendor.
Can a proprietorship use this?+
Yes. Leave the CIN field empty and put your GSTIN or Udyam registration number in the other registration field.
